There will be plenty of rainbow and queer anthems, as well as free face-painting and and a BBQ, not to mention some fire footy!

Muggie Gras - Pride Round
It’s Muggie Gras Time, Baby!
Join us at the Pav for our post Pride Round Party - Mardi Gras, Mug style!
The Pav will be decked out Mardi-Gras style, so come dressed in your best Mardi Gras-esque fit, floats are encouraged and there will be a prize for best-fit of the night!
You can expect drag, queer anthems, a pride photobooth, glitter and temporary tatt stations and lotsaaaa dancing as we celebrate all things mugspride!

Community Round
Join us at Melbourne Uni Main Oval for our first home game of Season 2024 for Community Round! We invite all members of the MUWFC community to come together - players (past and present), family members, friends, and members of our wider community to celebrate all things Mugars!

There will be various activities throughout the day, including face painting, BBQ and bake sale at the Pav, and a raffle with some big-ticket prizes! Profits made from the raffle will go towards supporting our Family Fund and Operational Fund in 2024. These funds ensure our players can take the field each week.
Following the conclusion of the Seniors match, drinks will be held at the Pav available at bar price. The winners of the raffle will also be announced at post-match drinks.
We will be launching the 2024 Halo Club Memberships, including the highly anticipated Pet Membership. To celebrate the introduction of the Pet Membership, there will be a best dressed dog competition at half-time of the seniors game. The day’s full itinerary can be found below:

Following popular request- this year’s season launch will be held on a Saturday (6th of April) at the home of MU (Ernie Cropley Sports Pavillion).
Hear from our 2024 coaches, leadership group & club sponsors as we officially kick-off season 2k24. All registered players will also receive a special 2024 playing token to mark the commencement of the season.

It’s time for Pre-Season Camp! Players & coaches - we’re heading to Portsea!
This one night camp will have it all - fitness, footy & fun, what more could you want?
What you can expect:
Fitness session
Skills clinic/match simulation
Workshops: nutrition, wellbeing, team values & strategy
Social event: a fun gathering on the Saturday night!

MUWFC Community we are calling on YOU! It’s time for our annual fundraising walk/run - this year re-imaged as Mugs & Pugs!
Join us as for a leisurely walk/run around Princes Park (3.5km loop) - bring your friends, family members, pugs and pets and stay for a post walk/run coffee in the park afterwards!
Event registration ($20 per participant) includes free coffee at conclusion of walk/run, and all profit raised contributes directly to the MUWFC Family Fund - supporting players throughout season 2024 so everyone has the opportunity to play our great game!

Join us for our first official social event of season 2024! The inaugural Sports Day Splash is one you don’t want to miss! Hosted at Senior Head Coach Colleen Gwynne’s Eltham Estate this event includes games, drinks, food - and possibly a splash in Gwynney’s swimming pool!
The purpose of this event is to connect as a playing and coaching group prior to season’s start - expect to socialise and mingle with faces old and new!

Join us for our first casual get together! Following our final skills session at Crawford Oval, hear from Club President Maddy Noack and Senior Head Coach Colleen Gwynne on their plans and expectations for season 2024.
This event will be held at the Nona Lee Sports Centre - just opposite the athletics track and hockey pitch, and will be accompanied by a BBQ and salad bar.
Gold coin donation required for BBQ/salad bar - both cash and card available.
This event is open to all - those who have been joining our skills sessions, those considering a return/start to footy in 2024, or even those who just want to hear from our president and head coach! We look forward to seeing you there.
Run Club
MUWFC warmly invites all it’s community members to come along to our off season Run Club. Run Club starts on the 4th of November at 9:30am. We will alternate sessions are Princes Park (meeting by the light post at Crawford Oval) and Motus (Stubbs St, Kensington). We can’t wait to see you there!
2024 AGM and Pub Dinner

Starting with electing our 2024 committee members and having a good old pub feed.
All 2023 participating members (including staff), life members and Halo members have voting rights, but everyone is welcome!

2023 Presentation Night
Join MUWFC to celebrate our night of nights, starting at 6pm with a cocktail hour, we will then invite you to take your seats for the formalities.
