Seeking Advisory Committee Members

We are excited to announce that expressions of interest are now open for MUWFC’s 2023 Advisory Committee. This committee - made up of people within our club and wider community - will be involved in the decision making around several key focus points to ensure our club is a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
These focus points are the LGBTQIA+ community, First Nations Peoples, Mental Health, Environmental Sustainability, Racial and Religious Tolerance and Accessibility.

MUWFC Advisory Committee Purpose: To allow individuals with lived and/or professional experience to provide unique guidance, support, and knowledge on certain topics that contribute to the social responsibility and community goals of the club.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Attend meetings (Feb '23 onwards)
Advise on the development & delivery of policy & strategy
Undertake tasks as agreed upon
Engage with external stakeholders
Participate in ongoing learning
#LeadTheWay on & off the field
Time Commitment: If you are keen on helping out with just one particular task and are unsure if you have the time commitment for policy planning, event planning and external engagement etc, that’s fine!
