ReWine X MUWFC | Our Sustainable Wine Merchant

MUWFC is proud to welcome the ongoing support of ReWine, the Sustainable Wine Merchant, for the 2023 season!

ReWine's mission is to help the environmentally aware, conscious consumer live a low impact, zero waste and sustainable lifestyle. They have been disrupting the traditional wine industry since 2005, turning the wine industry upside-down by selling wine straight from the barrel into special refillable bottles for takeaway, or serving straight into the glass.

ReWine's unique equipment allows them to refill their bottles over and over again, saving hundreds of thousands of bottles from going to landfill, which is the reason they call themselves 'the Sustainable Wine Merchant'.

The wines are sourced locally, considering the transport carbon footprint and working with suppliers who share their sustainable vision for the future. Their bottles are sourced from a manufacturer that uses recycled glass from the South Australian recycling scheme, which provides them with a glass bottle that has half the embedded energy of traditional glass bottles and can be used over and over again - remember to keep refilling your 25th Anniversary Bottles!

ReWine will be available after all home games and Club functions hosted at the Pavillion, but don't get rid of their bottles - we'll be refilling them for the next event (and the one after that, and the one after that...).

We also encourage our community to get in touch with Marshall and the team for your next event, they have some amazing offers available (and you'll be doing your bit for the planet too!)

This year, all players will be offered a 15% discount at ReWine when they show their Playing Jumper keyring (handed out to players at the 2022 Season Launch, and will be handed out again at our 2023 Season Launch!)
