Our Home Ground

The Melbourne University Women's Football Club has access to high quality facilities for training and games.

MUWFC plays home games on Melbourne University's historic Main Oval, which is also home to the third oldest men's Australian football club, (Melbourne University - established in 1859). Surrounded by the University's colleges and 19th century buildings, the University Oval is one of the country's most picturesque venues for AFL football.

The facilities at Melbourne University Sport are considered among the very best in Melbourne. Following a $5.3 million architecturally designed refurbishment, the heritage-listed Beaurepaire Centre now provides state-of-the-art fitness facilities for the University community.

The Beaurepaire Centre, which was used for training in the 1956 Olympic Games, includes a 25m, six-lane heated indoor lap pool, the 850m two-level Strength & Fitness Gym provides the latest pin-loaded and free weight gym equipment as well as a mezzanine cardio zone with inspiring views overlooking the athletics track and sports fields and a personal training studio.

Facilities in the Sports Centre building include 4 squash courts, a Group Cycling Studio, MindBody Studio, Cardio Box Studio, Massage & Physiotherapy Clinic and 2 Multi-purpose stadiums. All senior club members have access to discounted memberships for Melbourne University Sport's fitness and sports centres.
